1 Comment - I recently moved into a professional practice role and I find that there is a gap in knowledge throughout the organization about what informatics is. Often, "informatics" becomes synonymous with IT and the comprehensive understanding of the integration of technology and tools to improve practice, communication, continuity of care etc. that is patient focused is missed
