The Canadian Nurse website is turning its attention to the issue of racism — particularly anti-Black racism — in nursing and health care. Our aim is to give a voice to those who have experienced racism or want to speak out against it.

Canadian Nurse and the Canadian Nurses Association believe everyone should be able to work, live and receive care free of racism or any form of discrimination. We are committed to listening to and learning from our members, patients and communities about how we can overcome racism and take decisive actions to address systemic racism within the profession and the health-care system.
